I'll be performing solo, discussing Sangamon Songs and telling stories. Here's the event: The Pana Historical Society is re-creating the old Chautauquas held during the 1870s-1930s. Famous celebrities who attended those events included John Phillips Sousa, William Jennings Bryan, Frank James and Billie Sunday. Will include vendors, pie eating and baking contest, fishing derby, kids' bike races, old-time baseball game, nightly music, beard contest and more.
